Sheriff Keith Nygren announced today the arrest of a Wonder Lake resident after the service of a Search Warrant. On July 30, 2010 the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed a Search Warrant at 7717 Catalpa Dr., Wonder Lake, Illinois. During the service of the Search Warrant, Sheriff’s Investigators recovered approximately 20 grams of Cocaine, 300 grams of Cannabis and a loaded firearm. Sheriff Nygren estimates the value of the drugs seized to be in excess of $2,600.00. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are anticipated.

Charges: Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver (Class X Felony) Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class 1 Felony) Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon (Class 3 Felony) Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with the Intent to Deliver (Class 3 Felony) Unlawful Possession of Ammunition by a Felon (Class 3 Felony) Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (Class 4 Felony)

Bond: To Be Set By Judge Sheriff Keith Nygren The charges against the individuals are merely allegations against them. All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
