The suspect from Monday, July 26, 2010 tactical situation on Charles Street has been identified as a serial business robber. Since July 15, 2010, the North end of the city had five business robberies along Warwick Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue. In all the robberies the suspect used a kitchen knife and there were customers inside the business at the time of the incident. Below are the dates and locations of the five robberies:

Thursday, July 15th at 10:31 p.m. - Raceway at 15684 Warwick Blvd.

Monday, July 19th at 9:46 p.m. – Miller Mart at 13797 Warwick Blvd.

Tuesday, July 20th at 5:12 p.m. – Dollar General at 15425 Warwick Blvd.

Saturday, July 24th at 5:05 p.m. – Dollar General at 17413 Warwick Blvd.

Saturday, July 24th at 9:40 p.m. – Dodge’s Chicken at 13170 Jefferson Avenue

Robbery Detectives have charged Dennis Lamell Brown, 44, of the 500 block of Lucas Creek Road with five counts of Robbery. He is in the custody of the City Jail. A suspect photo is attached.
