October 10, 2009 is National "Put The Brakes on Fatalities Day". The Gloucester Township Police Department will be conducting enforcement patrols targeting aggressive and drunk driving in support of the initiative. Motorist and Pedestrians are reminded to use caution when using the road to reduce injuries and fatalities resulting from motor vehicle crashes.
