Summit Police Dept will host National Night Out Against Crime Tues Aug 3rd 6pm - 8pm at Village Green (Elm/Broad St) 
The Summit Police Department will be hosting their annual National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday August 3rd, 2010 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Village Green (Elm / Broad St).
National Night Out is a 50 state event were citizens and police gather to heighten Crime and Drug Prevention, build police-community partnerships, and participate in local anti-crime programs. Last year over 36 million people throughout the United States participated in National Night Out.

There will be live demonstrations/displays by the Summit Police and Fire departments, SVFAS, Summit High School Step Team and Master Yoo’s Martial Arts Academy. In addition there will also be food, drinks, face painting, music, and prize giveaways.
The Summit Police Department would like to thank all the agencies mentioned above as well as the Summit Police Athletic League (P.A.L) and the Summit Community Programs department for their support of this very worthwhile event.
