DRUG CHARGES
An individual connected to the discovery of a meth lab in May is now in jail on drug charges, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“26 year-old Jimmy Lynn Ogle, Jacksonville, has been charged with one count of unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, which is a felony,” states Warrants Division Deputy Stephen Hooks.
Ogle has been a person of interest since a May 27th incident.
Deputies Ben Green and Eric Doran were responding to a missing teenager when they discovered a methamphetamine lab at 56 Agnes Boulevard, in the Tidmore Bend community. Ogle ran from the deputies when they arrived on scene.
During the continuation of the investigation, agents with the Etowah County Drug Task Force issued the warrant for his arrest in connection to the meth lab.
Ogle was located in Tuscaloosa County by the U.S. Marshal’s Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and transported back to the Etowah County Detention Center by an Etowah County deputy.
Ogle is currently being detained on a $100,000 cash bond.
