Orange City Police will host National Night Out, Tuesday, August 3

Please join us for National Night Out from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, at Veterans Memorial Park, located off East Blue Springs and South Volusia Avenue.

This annual nationwide event is designed to strengthen neighborhood spirit and unity, raise crime prevention awareness, and develop the partnership between the City and the community.

Bring the entire family! There will be FREE hotdogs, kettle corn and drinks, FREE DNA kits and children fingerprinting (while supplies last).

Additionally, Orange City Police and Fire Departments will have staff and apparatus on-site for demonstrations of motor vehicle extrication, Taser, Special Response Team, and more. Children can enjoy the splash pad and bounce houses, plus this is a great opportunity to have fun with neighbors and meet many members of City staff who serve this community.

Orange City’s National Night Out is hosted by the Police Department and Target. For more information, please contact Sgt. Greg Lariscy, Community Improvement Unit @ (386) 851-7555 ext. 2.
