Reward Offered in Recent Burglaries in Florence 
On July 14, 2010 the Florence Police Department was informed of a burglary that occurred at the Moose Lodge in Florence sometime during the previous late evening hours up to the discovery of the burglary that morning where cash was taken. Also on the same morning, Florence Police Department was informed of another burglary that occurred at the Subway Restaurant at the north end of the City. Specific property was taken in that burglary. There have been nine (9) other commercial burglaries or attempted burglaries that have occurred along the Hwy 101 corridor in Florence since June 21st, all of which are under investigation.
The Crime Stoppers Cascade/Siuslaw Stop Crime has offered up to a $1,500 reward for information that results in the arrest and indictment of the responsible suspects in these two specific burglaries. Siuslaw Stop Crime may decide to offer additional reward money at its sole discretion in regard to any of the other commercial burglaries occurring along the Highway 101 corridor.
