West Hollywood Shooting Death Investigation

8700 block of Beverly Boulevard, West Hollywood.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives responded to the location to assist West Hollywood Sheriff's Station patrol deputies and to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult and the wounding of two people. The three victims were transported to local hospitals, where one victim was later pronounced dead. The conditions of the other vicitms, a male adult and a female adult, are not considered to be life-threatening.

The incident began when an argument started in front of "Guys and Dolls" nightclub and spilled out into the street. The shooting then occurred in the street. The suspect was reportedly on foot and fired numerous rounds from a handgun at the victims. The suspect is decribed as a male Black adult. After the shooting, the suspect reportedly got into a waiting vehicle, and fled eastbound on Beverly Boulevard. The suspect's vehicle is described as possibly being black in color.
