Traffic sensors to be replaced
VINCENNES, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists to be aware of temporary lane restrictions on State Road 56 (S.R. 56) between U.S. Route 41 (U.S. 41) and State Road 65 (S.R. 65).
A contractor will be making repairs to sensors in the east and west bound lanes on Friday, July 23, weather permitting. The restriction will be 0.56 miles east of U.S. 41. One lane will be closed to allow workers to perform their work duties while one lane will be maintained for traffic. Crews anticipate beginning work at 8:00 a.m. local time and complete by 1:00 p.m. local time.
