DRUG BUST IN SEVERAL CITY COMMUNITIES 
PITTSBURGH:
On Thursday, July 15th, 2010 AT 2:00pm,Pittsburgh Narcotics & Vice detectives, assisted by PBP SWAT, executed (3) separate (unrelated) search warrants at various locations in the City of Pittsburgh.
At 2:00pm, detectives executed a search warrant in the 4900 block of Dearborn Street in the Garfield section of the city. Detectives arrested the resident, Anthony FREEMAN 54yo. During a search of the residence, detectives recovered the following pieces of evidence:
(1) AK-47 assault rifle (loaded)
(1) 12 gauge sawed-off shotgun
(1) 40 caliber Glock pistol (loaded)
Approximately $4,500.00 worth of crack cocaine and heroin
$1,000.00 US Currency
Paraphernalia used to cook and package crack cocaine
Freeman was transported to the Allegheny County Jail and will face the following charges:
Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (1 count)
Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana
Prohibited Offensive Weapons
On Thursday, July 15th, 2010 at 7:30pm, detectives executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Proctor Way in the Allentown section of the city. Detectives arrested the resident, Edward MATHIS, Jr, 18yo after undercover officers made (2) purchases of heroin from him. During a search of his residence, detectives recovered the following:
(5) bricks of heroin (approximately 250 stamp bags) with a street value of $2,500.00 Mathis was transported to the Allegheny County Jail and will face the following charges:
Possession of a Controlled Substance (3 counts)
Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (3 counts)
Delivery (2 counts)
On Friday, July 16th,2010 at 1:00am (Friday morning), detectives executed a search warrant in the 5700 block of Rural Street in the East Liberty section of the city. Detectives arrested Leo VANCE Phillips, 26yo and Christian JAVIER, 21yo. During a search of the residence,
detectives recovered the following:
(1) stolen Smith & Wesson .357 revolver (loaded)
(2) bags of crack cocaine (estimated street value of $3,000.00)
(1) digital scale with crack cocaine residue
$890.00 US Currency
Phillips and Javier were transported to the Allegheny County Jail and will face the following charges:
Possession of a Controlled Substance
Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance
Drug Paraphernalia
Criminal Conspiracy
Receiving Stolen Property
