Seven Vehicle Car Crash at Intersection of Rt 31 South and Stanton Rd. Earlier Today 
On Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at approximately 1404 hours, the Readington Township Police Department was dispatched to a seven vehicle motor vehicle car crash at the intersection of Rt. 31 south and Stanton Station Rd. The motor vehicle crash involved two tractor trailers and five motor vehicle. Two out of the eight individuals involved in the crash were taken to Hunterdon Medical Center to be treated for injuries internal injuries. One individual was at the crash scene for a mild arm laceration.
Do to the severity of the motor vehicle crash Rt. 31 south from Rt. 618 to West Woodschurch Rd. was closed for three hours. Multiple agencies were utilized during the investigation: Clinton Township Police Department, Raritan Township Police Department, New Jersey State Police Truck Inspection Unit, Whitehouse Station Fire Department, Hunterdon County HAZMAT, and Clinton Township Rescue Squad. The motor vehicle crash is still being investigated by the Readington Township Police Department.
