The Main Street railroad crossing in the City of Chelsea will be closed for repairs, from July 19-23. Posted detours will be posted, rerouting through traffic. The detour(s) will go as follows:
Southbound traffic: Take North Street to Hayes to W. Middle to Wilkinson to Old US-12 to S. Main Street.
Northbound traffic: Take E. Old US-12 to N. Freer to Railroad to McKinley to Dewey to N. Main Street.
This railroad crossing will be closed the entire length of the construction project. Please be sure to make the appropriate time adjustments to your schedule and follow the posted detours.
