Suisun City Police is releasing information about a recent crime/activity.

Residential Burglary

On 7/2/2010, at approximately 1043 hours, SCPD Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Blossom Avenue regarding a burglary in progress. Two suspects were seen, fleeing eastbound from the backyard of the residence. Officers determined that a rear window to the residence was smashed and there was evidence of a burglary. A perimeter was established. Additional units from Fairfield PD and the Solano County Sheriff’s office arrived on scene to provide assistance. SCPD received calls from several neighbors in the area reporting that a subject was running through their backyards. One suspect was taken into custody in the backyard of a residence on Thomas Circle, which is approximately a ½ mile from the victim residence. The second suspect was spotted by residents in the area and taken into custody on Blossom Avenue near Avalon Way.

One suspect was positively identified by a witness, both had stolen property from the house in their possession.

Both suspects were booked into the Solano County Jail on the above mentioned charges.
