Small arson fire on courts at Foothills Middle School Wed night. Tips? Call APD at 626-574-5160. 
Staff at Foothills Middle School, located at 171 E. Sycamore Avenue in Arcadia, discovered remnants of a small arson fire on the basketball courts Thursday morning. It appears that suspects removed the soccer nets from the school field and then set them on fire on the basketball courts using an accelerant.
Juveniles were seen in the area during the time of occurrence which is not uncommon for the school grounds. The school and fields can be accessed from points on surrounding streets including the upper field off of Hillcrest.
