Wanted person, Billy Ray Bales, 43 years of age, has been apprehended by the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office. Bales had an arrest warrant issued for Trafficking Methamphetamines. The warrant stemmed from a Criminal Interdiction Team search conducted in the Westmond area on June 3, 2010. Bales fled from the scene and remained at large until he was arrested by Bonner County Sheriff’s Deputy Aaron Walker today, July 1, 2010, in the area of US 95 and Westmond Road. The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office wishes to thank the public for the many tips that were received supporting the efforts to apprehend Mr. Bales.
