Two subjects were arrested and charged reference the assault reported in the 2500 block of Jules on Tuesday. 
Isaiah and Fawn Broadus (siblings) have been charged reference the assault that was reported Tuesday in the 2500 block of Jules. Shortly after 5:00 a.m., a citizen located 20 year old Ben A. Taylor in an alley at that location and contacted the police. Taylor had serious head injuries, and was transported to Heartland Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Detectives from the St. Joseph Police Department developed information yesterday that led to the arrest of Isaiah and Fawn Broadus. The subjects were arrested at two local residences Tuesday evening. The pair were charged Wednesday afternoon in state court with class āCā felony assault (bonds of $65,000.00) for participating in the assault by striking and kicking the victim repeatedly, resulting in serious injury.
The investigation is on-going, and indicates the persons involved were known to each other.
