17TH Annual Candle Light Vigil and Walk Planned during National Mental Illness Awareness Week Oct. 4-10, 2009
Sunday, October 4, 2009 - NAMI Sioux Falls, Affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is sponsoring a Candle Light Vigil and 8-block Candle Light Walk at First Lutheran Church, 12th & Minnesota Ave.
The evening begins with Prayer and Scripture in Christ the Victor Chapel at 6:00 PM.
Speakers and special music follow at 6:30 PM in the Reformation Hall.
This is a free, educational event. An optional 8-block Candle Light Walk follows the program.
There are no pledges to collect for the Walk. All are welcome! Invite you family and friends!

Tuesday, October 6, 2009. On this day, everyone needs to join hearts, light a candle and say a prayer for recovery and understanding for persons living with mental illness.
