Shooting 
Battle Creek Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on 6-26-2010 at about 1:15 am in the first block of Jericho, just south of Cliff St. The shooting appears to have occurred as several people were leaving a party in the area.
The victim, an 18 yr old male, was shot once in the hip, and is being treated at the hospital. His injury does not appear to be life threatening.
Police are not getting any cooperation from the victim and there have been no eye witnesses identified, that were willing to talk to Officers. The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Battle Creek Police Dept. or Silent Observer.
