A sobriety checkpoint was conducted in the area of Greencastle on 6/18. 
Franklin County DUI Enforcement Team is releasing the following details related to a sobriety checkpoint.
The checkpoint was conducted on 6/18 to 6/19 between the hours of 2300 and 0300.
A total of 259 vehicles were contacted, 7 drivers were detained and tested for DUI. There were 4 DUI arrests. There were 10 traffic citations issued and 7 warnings for vehicle code violations.
Participating agencies were Greencastle Police Dept, Franklin County Sheriff's Dept., Waynesboro Police Dept., and Washington Township Police Dept.
