A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Mercer County until 1145pm this date by authority of national weather service. At 1052pm radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing winds of 60mph. These storms were located alaong a line extending from 5 miles northwest of mendon to 5 miles northwest of coldwater to 20 miles west of Fort Recovery moving east at 60 mph.
A severe thunderstorm can contain heavy rain, high wind, and damaging hail. Persons in Mercer County should be aware of changing weather conditions and be prepared to move to a place of safety.
