Due to an accident on I95, we will continue to see heavy traffi on Rt. 54 and Rt.1. Use alternate routes if possible. 
Due to a fatality accident on I95 in Henrico County, all I95 southbound traffic is being diverted to Rt. 1. This is causing heavy congestion on Rt. 54 and Rt. 1.
The Ashland Police is monitoring the situation, but the traffic will likely remain heavy well into the afternoon.
