Modesto Police Need Help Identifying Suspects 
Modesto, CA- Modesto Police need help identifying two suspects involved in a recent burglary of a local nursery in Northeast Modesto. The suspects made off with hundreds of dollars worth of property and are now wanted for theft. The suspects were captured on surveillance cameras and the police need help identifying the suspects.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 19th, two suspects broke into Westurf Nursery located at 1216 Claus Road in Modesto. The suspects took several power tools worth hundreds of dollars and quickly fled the business. The suspects actions were caught on surveillance cameras and police are seeking assistance from the community in identifying these wanted suspects.
Westurf Nursery has seen a recent rash of break-ins to the business and have been working with the police on improving their security. On a recent burglary, David Octavio Avina, a 43-year old Modesto resident, was arrested for breaking into the same business and stealing merchandise.
The latest burglary involved two suspects. The first suspect appears to be a white male adult, between his late 30’s to mid-40’s, dark colored hair, wearing a gray sweatshirt. The second suspect appears to be a white male adult, slimmer build, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.
