September is National Preparedness Month and the Baltimore City Health Department is hosting an Emergency Preparedness Forum Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Enoch Pratt Central Library, 400 Cathedral St. Come learn how to protect your family and community during an emergency. See how the City is preparing for several types of disasters, and get information on H1N1 (swine) flu preparedness.
Speakers include Interim Commissioner Olivia Farrow, Mayor's Office of Emergency Management Director Robert Maloney, and Assistant Deputy Mayor Janie McCullough. The event is free and open to the public. Community Association leaders are strongly encouraged to attend.
