Full Notification

On todays date at approximately 6:30 PM, Harper Woods Police Officers were dispatched to the 18700 block of Kenosha on the report of a fight in progress in the street. Prior to the arrival of officers, a male resident fired a single shot in the air from a handgun in an attempt to break up the fight. The scene was quickly brought under control and the gun was recovered. The male resident that fired the shot and two females involved in the fight were taken into custody. There were no injuries. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
