Man entered the Northway Bank before noon today and robbed it. Male is about 5'8", heavy-set with facial hair. 
Police are searching for a bank robber in Belmont.
Officers said a man entered the Northway Bank before noon Saturday and passed a note to a teller.
Money was exchanged and police said the man ran off on foot afterwards.
Police described the man as 5 feet 8 inches tall, heavy-set with facial hair and wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.
No one was injured and officers said the man did not show a weapon.
The only person in the bank at the time of the robbery was a head teller and a second teller.
The bank is located near the Belknap Mall along Old State Road.
