STATE ROUTE 192 (EAST VALLEY ROAD) NOW OPEN

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY – Crews have reopened State Route 192 (East Valley Road) between Ortega Ridge Road and Freehaven Drive as of 3 pm, Caltrans officials announced today.

An emergency drainage project to repair a sinkhole began last month when the roadway collapsed, resulting in a full closure of East Valley Road/State Route 192.

The contractor for this project was R.W. Scott Construction Company Inc. of Orcutt, CA

Caltrans wishes to thank the public for their patience during this project.
