TREE TRIMMING/BRUSH CLEARING ALONG HWY. 101 IN MONTECITO

MONTECITO – Caltrans will be performing tree trimming and brush removal along Hwy. 101 in Montecito in the following locations:

• Hwy. 101 Southbound on-ramp at Olive Mill Road on Sunday, June 13 and Sunday, June 20 from 6 am to 3 pm.

• Hwy. 101 Southbound off-ramp at San Ysidro Road on Sunday, June 13 and Sunday, June 20 from 6 am to 3 pm.

This project will also result in the closure of the No. 2 (slow lane) on Sunday, June 13 and Sunday, June 20 from 6 am to 11 am. Electronic message boards will be posted to help motorists move through the project area.

This project is being done to reduce wind and fire hazards in the area.
