The suspect, Jermaine Atkinson, was being escorted by a Circuit Court Bailiff for an arraignment in Circuit Court and not in District Court as earlier thought. Atkinson was able to circumvent the double locking mechanism and open his handcuffs, freeing him from the link with other inmates.



We are still looking for Atkinson and now have a felony warrant for Escape 2nd Degree.
