Full Notification

On 06-05-10 I Cpl Swinney was doing park checks. I pulled into Avery park and noticed a black truck parked near the boat ramp. I turned my spotlight on the vehicle and saw at least two people running from the vehicle. One was a female with blond hair.

They fled into the woods. I ran the vehicle license plate and it was reported stolen out of Conway Ar. I then ran the v.i.n. on the vehicle and it also came back stolen out of Conway.

Deputy Tyson Dunn arrived on scene. An attempt was made to locate the persons who fled. Deputy Dunn located the female in the lake. She was identified as stacy Mitchell.
She was taken into custody. The other suspect was located about fifteen minutes later.

He was identified as Michael Howell. He also was taken into custody. Both suspects stated a Joseph Warren was the other person in the vehicle.

He was not located. A vehicle inventory was done.

Inside the console area three driver license and two social security cards were located. Also another license plate was located. It was also stolen out of Conway. Conway P.D was notified and confirmed the plates and vehicle was stolen.

Also a set of bolt cutters was located at the money drop box next to the truck. An attempt was made to gain entry but they did not succeed. Both suspects transported to
Garland ce.
