On 06/03/10, at approximately 7:25 pm, a citizen called WCPD Dispatch reporting that a black male unknown to her had just entered her home in the 700 block of Savannah Circle, Walnut Creek. Officers responded to the area and conducted a search. While motor officers were checking the canal trail, two suspects emerged from hiding and began running eastbound. More officers responded to the area and set up a perimeter. With the help of concerned citizens in the area, and police K9's from WCPD and CPD, officers were able to locate two juvenile suspects in a back yard in the 3000 block of Santa Paula Drive, Concord. The juveniles were arrested for residential burglary and were sent to Juvenile Hall. Their names are not being released due to their age.
