Over the Memorial Day Weekend, Detective William Federico of the Readington Township Police Department competed in the annual Tour of Somerville bicycle race. Det. Federico, a category 2 racer, placed first in his division out of approximately 130 riders. His finish can be seen here:

Detective Federico is sponsored by several local companies and races competitively throughout the season.
This summer, Detective Federico will assist in a bicycle safety demonstration for local youths. Look for the upcoming announcement.

Detective Federico has been with the Readington Police Department for five years, previously serving with the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office. Detective Federico lives in the township with his family.
