Synopsis:
A group of Hispanic male pedestrians were involved in an altercation with some other Hispanic males in a silver mustang. Some gang challenges were exchanged between the two groups. At least one Hispanic male produced a handgun and started shooting at the mustang. A 20 year old Hispanic male was located at 4700 T Street with one gunshot wound to the left arm, and one to the left leg. This victim was involved in the original altercation. The wounds are not life threatening. The Gang Unit is investigating.

Type: 11-80 SERIOUS INJURY ACCIDENT


Synopsis:
A 62 year old bicyclist was traveling east on 3600 Valley Centre Drive in the bike lane. For unknown reasons he collided with the rear of a large work van that was parked in the same lane. The cyclist suffered major trauma to his throat and cuts to his face. The Traffic Division is investigating.
