Train struck pickup in 4100 block of Division at unmanned railroad crossing. One man hospitalized, unknown injuries.

Arlington police and fire officials were contacted at about 4:35 p.m. today regarding a truck being struck by a train in the 4100 block of W. Division Street. It appears that the driver of the pickup attempted to cross the tracks at an unmanned crossing at that location and was struck by a train. The pickup had two men inside. One man was driven by ambulance to a local hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. The second man in the truck did not want to be transported to a hospital for treatment. While the incident is being investigated, the railroad tracks have been temporarily closed to through traffic.
