Alert

Harper Woods Police have arrested three suspects for home invasion.

Harper Woods Police officers responded to the 19300 block of Kenosha this morning on a report from a neighbor who advised that there was a suspicious vehicle at the house next door. The neighbor observed 3 suspects removing items from the home. The neighbor contacted 911 and gave a description of the suspects and their vehicle.

Responding officers were advised that the suspects and vehicle had left the home and that they were driving away. Harper Woods patrol officers spotted the vehicle driving on Kenosha. Harper Woods officers stopped the vehicle and arrested 3 adult residents of Detroit for Home Invasion.

All three suspects are being held on felony charges without bond. Evidence from this crime and others was recovered in the vehicle.

Harper Woods detectives are investigating the three suspect’s connection with several other home invasions in the area. Please keep an eye on your neighbor’s property; this crime was solved by an alert neighbor’s quick thinking and decision to report something unusual.

Information and photos of the suspects will be released once they are arraigned.
