On Saturday, May 15, 2010 at approximately 2100 hours, Cpl. Carlos Ferreiro stopped a motor vehicle driven by Grace Sickles (19) of Greenwich, Ct for an improper lane change. During the motor vehicle investigation, the Corporal detected an odor of Marijuana emanating out from the vehicle. During a search the Corporal located under fifty grams of Marijuana and a Glass Marijuana Pipe. Sickles was arrested and charged with possession of under fifty grams of Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sickles was released with a mandatory court appearance in the near future.



On Saturday, May 16, 2010 at approximately 0038 hours, Cpl. Carlos Ferreiro stopped a motor vehicle on Rt. 22 east near Kings for having a suspended vehicle registration. It was discovered that the driver, Ruby Hayes (43) of Lebanon, NJ, had a $188 dollar warrant for her arrest. Hayes was arrested, processed, and later released on her own recognizance pending a future court appearance. Hayes issued a summons for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.



On Saturday, May 16, 2010 at approximately 0258 hours, Cpl. Carlos Ferreiro stopped a motor vehicle driven by Janis Coty (61) of Hampton, NJ on Rt. 22 West and Far Knoll Ln for the inability to maintain lane. During the motor vehicle stop the Corporal detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating. Coty was given a battery of field sobriety tests, which she display signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest for DWI. Coty was charged with failure to maintain land and DWI. Coty was released pending a future court appearance.
