The Monroe Fair Days Parade will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2009 beginning at 11 am. Come join the fun! 
The Monroe Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the City of Monroe will be presenting the annual Monroe Fair Days Parade on Saturday August 29, 2009. The parade will begin at 11:00 am.
This event is a cornerstone for the Monroe Community with an anticipated attendance of 10,000 local and visiting guests. The parade and associated festivities is a community wide event celebrating the opening weekend of the Evergreen State Fair that runs from August 27th through September 7th.
The following streets will be closed on Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for the Fair Days Parade.
·Main Street: from 178th Avenue to Blakeley Street
·Blakeley Street: from West Main Street to Hill Street
·Hill Street: from Blakeley Street to Kelsey Street
·179th Avenue: from 160th Street to West Main Street
