Daily crime report
At 1931 hours in the area of Sherman Avenue and Elizabeth Street There was a robbery with a handgun. Two (2) victims were walking on Sherman Avenue near Elizabeth Street when they saw a light blue Honda make a u-turn and drive up to them. The vehicle was occupied by three (3) subjects. A subject that goes by the nickname of "Mont" exited the rear door and put a small black revolver to the victims stomach. Mont took the victims cell phone, wallet and backpack. The victim stated that Mont is TRE kid that hangs in the area of Goffe Street and Blake Street. I
Gunshots at 0239 hrs, Chapel/Norton
Complainant reported 5-6 shots in area. Shotspotter confirmed. No evidence found. The complainant stated that a tall male with big puffy coat fired the shots.
Robbery at Ferry and Exchange
Complainant was walking home and approached by a black male subject wearing a black hoody pointed a silver colored handgun and stole the victims black champion coat, keys, wallet and cell phone. The Perpetrator fled back to a waiting vehicle described as a gold Honda. Fled west on Exchange toward Poplar.
