The Harper Woods Police Department reports recent Larceny Activity in residential areas of the City. 
Since mid-April, the Police Department has been receiving reports regarding the theft of manhole covers and catch basins throughout the City. Most of the the thefts have been in the area of Woodmont, Woodside, Eastwood and Williamsburg Court. No suspects have been identified, but given the weight and size of the objects, two or more suspects are believe to be involved.
Residents are asked to keep of close eye on the manhole covers and catch basins around your home and report any suspicious activity immediately.
