Attempted Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Resisting arrest.

In the early morning hours on June 8th, 2009 Portsmouth Police Patrol Division responded to an alarm at 1555 Islington Street, the offices of Housing Partnership. Officers Jon Aubin, Tim Black and Rich Webb quickly responded to the scene. Upon arrival Officer Aubin spotted a subject in the field next to the office building. The subject took flight and a short foot pursuit ensued. Officers Aubin and Black caught the subject and placed him into custody.

Detectives Steve Arnold and John Peracchi of the Portsmouth Bureau of Investigative Services responded to 1555 Islington Street and processed the scene. Evidence was being collected and analyzed at the time of this press release.

$1000.00 cash bail was set on Mr. Middleton, which he was able to pay. After being processed he was released with an arraignment date of July 6th 2009 8:45 am at the Portsmouth District Court.
