SUBJECT: Drug Investigation Results in Arrest of Ocean Twp. Man

DATE/TIME: 4/21/2010

LOCATION: Willow Drive, Continental Apartment Complex.

OFFICERS INVOLVED: William Crosta, Michael Legg, Detective Dimitrios Kelesidis, Detective Patrick Martin, Sgt. Thomas Burke, Det./Lt. Steven Peters and the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office.

ACCUSED: Adrian Vogelson, Age 37 of Ocean Township

NARRATIVE: An ongoing investigation into possible illegal drug sales at a Willow Drive apartment resulted in the arrest of an Ocean Township man. On 4/21/10 at approximately 6:45 pm, officers from the Special Assignment Unit, the Detective Bureau and the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office arrested Adrian Vogelson for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Vogelson was taken into custody without incident subsequent to officers executing a search warrant at the apartment. He was then transported to OTPD for further processing.

Officers seized cocaine, marijuana, a bong commonly used to ingest marijuana, items used to package drugs for sale and associated paraphernalia. Officers also seized $426.00 in cash.

Vogelson was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession
of less than fifty grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Vogelson also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of the Aberdeen Municipal court. Vogelson was later taken to the Monmouth County jail on $5000.00 bail.
