Calling 911 from you cell phone routes your call to CHP. If you want Napa Central Dispatch instead, call 253-0911. 
When you need to report an emergency and call 911 from your cellular telephone, the call is routed to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Benicia.
If the emergency you need to report is occurring in Napa County, and you would rather speak to Napa Central Dispatch (police/fire/sheriff), please dial or program your cellular telephone to dial, 253-0911. This will route your call to the Napa Central Dispatch Center instead of to CHP.
