Narrative:
On April 13, 2010, the Ventura County Sheriff’s East County Narcotics Street Team and the Moorpark Police Department’s Special Enforcement Detail learned Michael Bello was selling ecstasy pills in the City of Moorpark.
Investigators began surveillance on Bello and observed him conducting an ecstasy transaction at a location in the City of Moorpark. Bello had a 14-year-old girl with him during the transaction, and later claimed she was his girlfriend. A quantity of ecstasy was seized from Bello. A subsequent investigation determined that Bello was engaging in unlawful sex acts with his 14-year-old girlfriend. Bello was arrested for selling ecstasy and several sex crimes. Bello was booked into the Pre-Trial Detention facility with a $500,000 bail, and will be arraigned in Ventura County Superior Court on April 15, 2010.
