FIRE DANGER ALERT! The predicted wildland fire danger for today is Class 5 (Extreme).

The Goffstown Fire Department urges all residents to extra careful with open flame with the existing dry condtions.

Today will be a very dry day with minimum relative humidities ranging from 10 to 20 percent under mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will be in the 60s and gusty winds between 20 and 35 mph will develop this afternoon, which will increase the potential for rapid fire spread.

The dry weather will continue through Thursday, with the earliest chance of any precipitation Thursday night or Friday morning.

All residents with Seasonal Burning Permits are advised not to kindle fires today or tomorrow.
