Four people were arrested Monday following a loud neighborhood disturbance in the 2900 block of West Boulevard near Belleville.

Five individuals were involved in the verbal fight just after 7 p.m. Monday: Three adults and two juveniles, according to Sgt. Dan Stockett, an investigator with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department. The fifth person, a female juvenile, ran from the scene when police arrived. Police have identified her but have not yet arrested her.

According to the police report, several individuals went to a home in the 2900 block of West Boulevard to find an individual they planned to beat up. Instead of becoming a physical altercation the group instead engaged in yelling, screaming and cursing.

"We've been increasing patrols in that area because there have been quite a few disturbances around there lately," Stockett said.

Lemarian R.A. Jones-Williams, 18, was charged with disorderly conduct. He has posted bond and been released from the St. Clair County Jail.

Geneka R. Davis, 28, was charged with obstructing a peace officer. According to the police report Davis was allegedly interfering with officers as they worked to arrest the other individuals involved in the disturbance. Davis has posted bond and was released from the St. Clair County Jail.

Travis A.D. Hoffman, 18, of Washington Park, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer after he fled the scene of the disturbance when police arrived. Hoffman remains in custody in the St. Clair County Jail in lieu of a $2,000 bail.

A fourth individual, a juvenile, was also arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. The St. Clair County Sheriff's Department does not release the names of juvenile
