On Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 1123 hours, Fred was located as a passenger in a disabled van on Route 523 near Halls Mill Road. Fred was arrested after officers located a warrant for his arrest for not appearing in the New Brunswick Municipal Court in 1998 for a traffic violation. New Brunswick officials decided to release Fred with a new court date of 04-15-2010 at 1230 hours. Officers also assisted the other occupants of the van in
obtaining a new tire from a local business.
