Benicia Drug Suspects Arrested

An investigation conducted by the Solano County Sheriff's California Multi-Jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team (Cal-MMET) and the Solano County Sheriff's Narcotic Enforcement Team (SolNET) resulted in the arrest of two Benicia brothers for narcotic and firearms offenses Thursday morning.

Darick Randolph Jr., 22, and his brother, Damian Randolph, 21, were both taken into custody at their Carolina Drive home in Benicia after a search warrant was served at the residence by Cal-MMET, SolNET, and the Benicia Police Department at 8:30 am.

Both Randolph's were booked into the Solano County Jail on charges of possessing cocaine for sale, conspiracy, and possessing a firearm (rifle) while committing a felony drug violation.

Damian Randolph was booked with an additional charge of possessing methamphetamine for sale.

"This home has been an issue in that neighborhood for some time," Benicia Police Lt. Mike Daley said. "The drug enforcement teams did a great job conducting this investigation, assisting our department in trying to solve some of the problems associated with this residence, and bringing some peace to the surrounding neighbors.

As we see with many suspected drug dealers, they had access to a firearm which heightens the danger to our community."
