Domestic Disturbance 
On 4/7/10 at approx. 1216 hrs. Deputies responded to 1208 35th St. SW Bettendorf reference a Domestic Disturbance. During the disturbance, the male subject identified as Jeremy Malone, (age 31) assaulted the female half of the disturbance causing minor injuries. Malone also injured a family pet when he threw the dog against a vehicle causing minor injuries to the animal as well.
As the disturbance continued, Malone caused damage to the female subjects’ vehicle when he used an axe to smash out several windows. When Deputies arrived, Malone was located and taken into custody without further incident. After the incident, a consent search of Malone’s resident yielded small amount of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
As a result of the incident, Malone was charged with Domestic Assault with Injury, Criminal Mischief 2nd, Animal Cruelty, Possession of Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia.
The incident is still under investigation.
