Significant increase in auto theft in our community 
As of the end of May, Auto Theft has seen a significant upturn in Harper Woods. We are up 26% from this time last year(146 current thefts). Please report any suspicious activity or vehicles in your neighborhood to the Police Department.
We strongly advise you to always lock your vehicle, use a club or similar anti-theft device and use your garage if it is available to park your vehicle at night.
