The Monroe Police Department invites you to attend the 26th Annual National Night Out Against Crime Event. Tonight, August 4, 2009. 6p-9p at Lake Tye Park in Monroe.
The purpose of the event is to bring the Community together to promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity. National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in our fight to build a safer community.
This Monroe Rotary and Police Department sponsored event will bring community businesses, service groups, faith groups, service providers, Monroe Fire District #3 and citizens together.
Family activities include: Police K9 demos, Fire rescues, Bounce House, Speed Pitch, Swat Demonstration, Community Resources, Child Identification, Refreshments and lots more.
