Swearing In Ceremony Monday, April 12th at 9:00am, Newest Deputy Sheriff 
On Monday, April 12th at 09:00, the Scott County Sheriff’s Office will hold a Swearing In Ceremony at the Sheriff’s Office Administration Conference Room in the Scott County Courthouse. Chad Weipert has been hired as the newest deputy sheriff in Scott County.
Chad Weipert was born and raised in Davenport and graduated from Scott Community College with an A.A. degree in Criminal Justice. Chad worked as a corrections officer for two years in the Scott County Jail before he was most recently employed as a police officer with the Maquoketa, Iowa Police Department. Chad and his wife Kerri and have two children, Wyatt and Gabbie.
